About The Project

The Lead-Safe Turmeric Project focuses on food safety, awareness generation, stakeholder engagement and building lead-safe turmeric value chains across Bihar.

The project works closely with farmers, FPOs, government stakeholders and communities to promote safe agricultural practices and sustainable value chains.

Position Purpose

The District Field Coordinator will coordinate field implementation, stakeholder engagement, surveys, reporting, monitoring and district-level activities under the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate field implementation activities.
• Conduct surveys and field visits.
• Engage farmers, FPOs and stakeholders.
• Organize awareness programs and trainings.
• Maintain project documentation.
• Prepare and submit progress reports.
• Support monitoring and evaluation activities.
• Coordinate with district administration and partners.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate in Agriculture.
• Food Technology.
• Rural Development.
• Public Health.
• Social Work.
• Nutrition.
• Biotechnology.
• Or related disciplines.
• 2-5 years relevant experience.

Preferred Experience

• Food Safety Projects.
• Agriculture Value Chains.
• Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).
• NGO / CSR Projects.
• Farmer Engagement Programs.
• Community Mobilization.

Additional Requirements

• Two-wheeler with valid driving licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Hindi.
• Basic English proficiency.
